The Milko Company

Milko is one of Sweden´s largest dairy companies producing milk, Swedish sour milk, juice, yoghurt, butter, soft whey cheese, soft and hard cheeses and powdered milk. Some of our own brands are also marketed in other parts of Sweden. Milko also offers produce from other co-operative dairies.

With our base in northern Sweden, we develop and market natural and interesting dairy products that satisfy the needs of Swedish consumers for gastronomic experiences and a good life. That is our business concept.

Our main business region, which we call ”Milkoland”, covers more than 1/3 of Sweden.

Milko is a co-operative company, which is owned by farmers from various provinces. These are are represented by Dalsland, Värmland, Dalarna, parts of Västmanland, Hälsingland, Härjedalen, Jämtland, Medelpad och Ångermanland.

Our chief purpose is to offer consumers dairy products of high quality, made from milk coming from local farms.

We are also very protective of our suppliers, in order for them to remain active and continue to give life to the Swedish countryside.
